Educational and research capacity of Member Institutions would be enhanced
through faculty staff development and graduate program establishment/strengthening as Center of Excellence in engineering field in
each respective country. To develop the faculty's capacity, the AUN/SEED-Net Project provides 4 Graduate Degree Scholarship Programs to highly qualified young
teaching staff and senior students/young graduates (i.e., potential future faculty staff) of Member Institutions to acquire graduate
degrees in the nine engineering fields at Host Institutions in other ASEAN countries or at Japanese Supporting Universities in Japan.
Not only graduate programs at Host Institutions will be strengthened, new courses or graduate programs at non-Host Institutions, especially those in junior ASEAN countries, will be established with advice from respective Host Institutions and Japanese Supporting Universities through the Faculty Staff Dispatch Program. Faculty members will be well-trained academically through Short-term Training/Research Program in ASEAN and Japan.
