Steering Committee consists of a representative of ASEAN Secretariat, a representative of AUN Secretariat, AUN/SEED-Net Executive Director, a representative of Government of Japan, a representative of JICA, a representative of Japanese Supporting University Consortium as ex-officio members, and one representative of the Member Institutions from each of ASEAN countries. It meets twice a year and formulates the policies of the AUN/SEED-Net, reviews and approves activity plans presented by the Secretariat.

Secretariat is located at Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, headed by the Executive Director. JICA will dispatch the supporting and advisory team consisting of long-term experts (Chief Advisor, Academic Advisor, and Coordinators) to the Secretariat. The Secretariat plans, organizes, coordinates, monitors, evaluates programs, projects and activities of the AUN/SEED-Net, reviews the accomplishments of the network, and prepares a comprehensive annual report, in collaboration with the JICA team and Japanese Supporting University Consortium.
